EEE-111 (Mid-Summer 2019)

Electrical Circuit: An interconnection of the electrical component is called Electrical Circuit.

Electrical Element: Every components of Electrical circuit is known as Element.

Electrical Component: The various parameter of an electrical circuit consist of active and passive elements and forcing function like voltage and current.

Active Element: The elements those can generate energy by themselves are called Active Element.

Passive Element: The elements those can not generate energy by themselves are called Active Element.

Ohms Law: Ohms state that the voltage across a resistor is directly proportional to the current i flow through the resistor.

There are two types of resistor according to Ohms law...
       1. Linear resistor
       2. Non linear resistor

1. Linear resistor: A resistor that obeys Ohms law is called Linear resistor.
Linear Resistor
2. Non Linear resistor: A resistor that not obeys Ohms law is called Linear resistor.
Non Linear Resistor
Branch: A Branch may contain one or more elements through which same current flows.

Node:  A node is the point of connection between two or more branches.

KCL: Kirchoffs current law (KCL) states that the algebraic sum of current entering a node is zero.

KVL: Kirchoffs voltage law (KVL) states that the algebraic sum of all voltage around a closed path is zero.
