Chapter 2: Literature Review

2.1 Depth Interview
We went to three different person for know about cement. They said us when they purchase cement then taken advice from masons or friends or relatives. Two house owner and one mason said us most of the time they use Saha cement, crown cement and fresh cement.

When we asked question them that why you use these types of cement? Then a house owner answer me he purchase cement according to masons advice and two masons said us those companies cement are very good. Because those cements quality and mixer very good.
Two house owner said us high price cement is very good. Because they think that high price cement provide high quality cement. On the other hand masons said that “it is not true that high price cement quality is always good’’.

Another perspective house owner said foreign cement is good than own county cement. But masons said that from foreign cement  Bangladesh have so many cement. This cement provide better quality than foreign cement.
They also said that when they purchase cement the owners and mason said that “they consider price, quality, durability, availability”. Sometimes they also apply their experiences to purchase cement.
2.2 Prior studies
Another study (Sumon, 2015) mention that Company should facilitate its employees by providing special incentives on the basis of their performance and festival bonuses for increase their service quality. Company also getting intention of their customer by delivering the product right time.

According to (Arijit and Maity, 2014) Found that company charge cement high price because of their strong position and good corporate image. Company attract their customer by the attractive packaging. Company also take discount policy for their customer by increase their brand preference.

Conducted to a study (Mohammad, 2014) has found that a cement company should taking different promotional schemes for widely introduce it to customer. Company given discount coupon for increasing their sell. Company given innovative advertisement for getting attention to their customer. Company are design their product by price accordingly.

According to (Murugan and Ganapathi, 2012) has found that advertisement playing vital role for selecting a specific brand of a cement. When customer is looking for a specific brand then the brand equity will be increasing. When a company get availability of raw materials then they can continue their production process.  With the appearance of cement bag, a company can be attract their customer. 

Another study (Manohar, 2011) has found that it is necessary to maintain durability of cement. It makes ability of concrete to resist weathering action. When a company uses electronic packaging system which can reduces their production cost. By the design of cement Bag Company can attract customer mind.

One study has been conducted by (Raja and Sivasundaram, 2015) nowadays customer have good awareness about type of cement brand. They are thinking popular brand of cement provide good quality. According to customer expectation in Bangladesh create a cement industry. Cement companies produce cement according to demographic environment and customer perception.

Another study has been found by (K.Amutha and S.P, 2015) Customer choose their cement about cement quality, packaging, and cement price. Which company can provide good quality customer select these companies cement? Some times company offer discount for customer.

According to (Thushara and Ranjith, 2013) mention that Cement strength is so important for any cement company. Because it’s create difference with other competitors. Good quality cement can make strong concrete. Cement quality can keep consistency to construction process.

Another study has been conducted by (Samuel, 2012) is an establish company in the India. This company provide durable product to customer.Company provide cement by distributors. Company gain accessibility from customer by provide quality product.

Another study has been conducted (Lakshmi, 2005) Consumer buying decision depend on different using process. If customer use for individual housing then they medium quality cement. But when customers are using cement industrial construction and government infrastructure then they use high quality cement. And then they will think cement durability, quick setting.
