Pesticide: Pesticides are substances that are meant to control pests (Including weeds).

The Food and Agricultural Organisation (FAO) has defined as  any substance or mixture of substances intended for preventing pest including vectors of human or animal disease, unwanted species of plants or animals causing harm during or otherwise interfering with the production, processing, storage, transport or marketing of food, agricultural commodities, wood and wood products of animal feed stuff or substance that may be administered to animal for the control of insects,arachnids  or other pests in or on their bodies.

Use of Pesticide:

a. To kill Mosquito

b. To kill bees, wasps or ants

c. Pesticides can prevent sickness of humans that could be caused by moldy food or disease produce

d. Herbicides can be used to clear roadsides weeds, trees and bushes.

e. To kill invasive weeds.

f. Herbicides are commonly applied in ponds and lakes to control algae and plants.

g. Uncontrolled pests such as termites and mold  can damage structure like houses.

h. Pesticides used in grocery stores and food storage facilities to manage rodents and insects.

i. Proper pesticides use to decreases these associated risks to a level deemed acceptable by pesticides regulatory agencies.
